Code of Conduct Handbooks

In accordance with KRS 158.148, our annual student handbook is prepared by our staff and provided for your information and future reference concerning student responsibilities and expected behavior during the academic year, including Summer School and all school-sponsored summer activities.

Annual Revision Process

Suggestions for policy and procedure revisions and improvements to the Student Code of Conduct are welcomed and should be addressed to:

Correspondence received by March 30 of each year will be considered by the handbook committee.  Addendums to the handbook(s) will be published as needed.

Stakeholders who wish to participate in the annual review of the district’s code of conduct and handbooks should notify the Office of Communications and Governance via e-mail (governance@knox.kyschools.us) or by mail before March 30 each year.

Students in dual credit classes have until May 10 to notify the district that they wish to drop the course with a withdraw/drop on their college transcript.  E-mail: dualcredit@knox.kyschools.us
