Applying for GSP

Students interested in applying to participate in the 2022 Governor’s Scholars Program will need to download: the Student Application Front Page, Focus Area Page, Consent Form, Extracurricular Activities, Service, Honors/Awards, and Writing Entry (also the Applicant Checklist to ensure a completed application). 

NOTE: These documents can be accessed using Google Docs; however, the check boxes will not function. You can highlight your selections instead of using the check boxes in those instances.

The following recommendation form is for teacher recommenders.  Students should send this form to the teacher that they wish to write a recommendation for them.  Recommendations may be emailed to instruction@knox.kyschools.us. 

• 2022 Teacher Recommendation Form

The following recommendation form is for community member recommendations.  Students should send this form to the individual that they wish to write a recommendation for them.  Recommendations may be emailed to instruction@knox.kyschools.us. :

• 2022 Community Recommendation Form  – This form must be returned to the student or his/her school to be submitted with their completed application.
• SAMPLE Community Recommendation
